    Exclamation Civic EG4 overheat problem URGENT~~!!!

    Hi guys,

    got my Civic EG4 dual carb running overheat started on last night,

    wr i have done is just changing coolant and bleed the air from the radiator,

    the symptom from now on is:

    1.) water temp gauge going to red line
    2.)Top Radiator hose very hot and being fat like try to broke
    3.) Bottom Hose cold like nothing happen, huge different with the top one.

    Anyone got any similar problem? will it be thermostat? and someone said will be water pump not working?? no ideas wt';s going on need some help thanks guys*
    N/A will be better if u got a balance tune, not only for power*~

    change thermostat & change the top hose, then report back.

    So the Thermostat will not work in a sudden??
    N/A will be better if u got a balance tune, not only for power*~

    not yet, i dont got and new thermostat at home and my car can't even run for 10 mins.

    after driving for a while like 10 mins it start overheat
    N/A will be better if u got a balance tune, not only for power*~

    Is the temp gauge going straight to redline as soon as you turn the key when the car is cold? If it is, then your temp sender unit is gone too.

    Problem found, thermostat fxxk up need to be replace,

    now the car is keep driving for more than 20 mins until in warm temp,

    not going to warm up for first 10 mins...
    N/A will be better if u got a balance tune, not only for power*~
