if the 5th gen back end onto 4th gen front.

mechanically 5th gen into 4th gen, especially the 4WS sytem. it gave me and my then-girlfriend so much problem.

I don't know how I feel about this... it's an abomination yet at the same time it kinda works.

I prefer the look of 4th gens yet I own a 5th gen How do they go performance wise? most 5th gens in Aus don't have ATTS and don't have 4WS so they most likely only weight about 1300kg or so.... maybe 100kg difference? I have heard 4th gens are faster and stiffer but I've heard 4th gens understeer quite alot and 5th gens seem pretty neutral handling to me unless you have shit tyres up front ofc but I can't really say because I've never been in a stock 4th gen.

I like them both in their own way and design and view them as 2 different cars totally on appearance and only share the the same badge.
Second day of owning my 4th Gen and i'm really liking it driving wise and i have always liked the shape through the years and they seem more rarer here on the coast than 3rd and 5th Gens.
Each have their own there own qualities and i would probably settle on a 5th Gen again if funds allowed.
Happy as now though.. and old school wins alot of the time.
