    Thumbs down Electrical Problems?

Hi guys. I've got a problem with my car that just occured today. I was driving at night and my car started making some strange sound continuous coming near the area of my brake master cylinder.

When I was indicating, my car's dash light and everything went dim every time my indicator clicked. Also when i flashed my high beam, the car seems like its about to stall and all electrical components inside seems to get darken than usual and also my headunit turns off then turns back on again. Whats wrong with my car?

have you got a multimeter, or get a hold of one? set id to DC voltage.
test between the terminals at idle, then test when you rev it a little. you should have about 14.5volts for a healthy battery at idle

UPDATE: I just drove my car today and the problem didn't occur? Any possibilities the problem might occur again ?

I agree with the others, could be alternator. I also suggest getting your battery checked for bad cells.

since you said that the problem didnt occur when you drove your car yesterday, its most likely the brushes in the alternator.
they are prone in doing what you have said in motors. its definitely a doable DIY job, search it up
