    guages for ep3

    Hey guys.

Had the idea of getting some gauges for me ep. Nothing certain but just a thought.

Wanting something similar to the defi single din but obviously not that expensive. I love the look of what people do on their ek's. With the 3 gauges in front if the gear stick. Nice and clean.

Anyways.. just thought I'd ask if anyone has done it before. Any diy tips or sources for gauges/din holders etc.

    Cheers

Hi mate, plenty of EP's have had them done- I like those single DIN defi's but I cant justify the price and also wanted to run a double DIN DVD, so i went for these Depo Jap ones. here's a couple pics in my EP. pic quality not very good, took these pictures before i got my new Camera but you get the idea

This is how mine is set up (including dodgy DIY fabrication - at Winton, one of the gauges nearly fell inside that cavernous hole that is behind the din):

i believe they are now discontinued. maybe try an import agent and ask them to source from Honda dealers in Japan.

or alternatively just CF wrap it.

if you want the carbon fiber modulo interior, touge distribution australia apparently brings them in,

    http://au.tougedistribution.com/item...OEM-EP3-MOD01/

have a look at it, if your keen in getting one, but 300ish for the look kinda doesnt seem worth it when, carbon demond can do the wrap for 250? i think with 10 year warranty
I let my Mrs hit Vtec, Maybe you should too!

Wrap looks about 1,000,000 times worse than the genuine thing - no matter who you get to do it.

Looks pretty decent too me haha. Mates got it on his r34 and thats difficult to do. Id rather save $100 and have it looking good.
At the end of the day its only part of the dash.. probably won't even do it ha. I definately wouldnt pay someone to do it
