Type R Lip on Green Civic

So, I'm getting a Type R lip from the awesome JDMYard sometime this/next week. Question is; I have a green civic (in profile pic). Should I paint it green or leave it black?? Anyone seen a green civic with a lip? Would it look better painted or left black? Need opinions!

    Edit: it's a preface EK

Personally, i think the preface CTR lip looks better colour coded as the side of the lip comes up to the bumper.

You mean Type R style? imo leave it unpainted. The cost of painting will be more than it's worth. In terms of looks though, if you can get a perfect colour match then spray it. Most likely it'll look off, which is why unpainted is a safer option

Good luck trying to get it to fit properly. I would have just got the genuine SiR lip for an extra few bucks straight from Honda, they look nice unpainted on any colour.

Hey man i have a green civic and was also in the same spot as you. I decided to leave it unpainted cos it was a replica and wasnt really wprth it. It will however look better colour coded. Btw jdmyard preface ctr reps arent that good, no offence to jdmyard. Its cos its more of a facelift style lip to fit prefacelift ek. Ive since gone oem and installed an sir lip. Looks better than the jdmyard replica.

i want one for mine its same as yours but GLi 96 WHITE i want it unpainted for two reasons
    1) it doesnt give a look like i have a body kit
    2) if i scrape it wouldn't be as noticeable and i wouldn't care

Just leave it I reckon. It cops a fair bit of abuse from stones scrapes etc.

Once a bit of paints chipped or scraped they look tatty

leave it unpainted, it will match the pre face lift moulds and skirts and any other black bits. if you colour coat the lip colour coat the rest of the car or itll look off.

thats mine you get the idea
