You can also machine a K24A3 VTC from 25 to 50 degrees
Im assuming you've got a k24 as your missing the VTC.
When you tune your a3 make sure you dont go to 50 deg. You'll get valve float and blow something 40 - 45 seems to be the optimum.
Thats new to me. Got any links for me to read up on? I thought a K20 VTC was the only thing desired for a sweet K24. Both oem K24a3 exhaust cam lobes are larger than a K20's
