    Hey guys,

Previous owner installedaftermarket alarm keyless system in my ek.
    Probably it's 10 years ago.

I dropped the remote into water and now it's not working anymore. Totally dead.
the brand of the system is no longer exist.
I know the fob unit can learning a new code for remotes,
it's that mean it can learn any aftermarket remote?
If I get I Honda OEM remote, can it be learned??

no, if you don't know what brand the alaem is, there is no way an internet forum can help you.

I know you are saying that the brand no longer exists, but what brand is it? Or do you not know? This can be a big help if you can provide this.

Off topic but Zilli, do you know if Shu Fix can cut the new Honda keys too?

The brand is "enforcer". I found its a Taiwan company and their website no longer update since 2008.
If I know all step to learn code. Will a aftermarket remote with same operating frequency on eBay works??

Just did a research.... the remote must match FCC ID with the receiver unit.
If that's true, there's no luck to get a new remote.
Does anyone know where can I get some used OEM Honda keyless system? I like the Honda logo remote.

Zilli has provided you a very good option - Go speak to an expert before shelling out a few hundred dollars on a new alarm system. Worse case scenario you would have wasted 30 minutes to an hour worth of travel time etc. Best case scenario you will have saved yourself a few hundred dollars...

Shu fix will cut the key and if required program the immobiliser... I had 2 done for my rav4 but that was easy as the immobiliser was a proximity based unit that sits in the fob. As long as you have one working key they can do the whole lot for you...
