    Car:
    Ek hatch b18c7

    B18c7 into 99 ek1

Hey guys. Like the title says. I'm dropping a B18c7 into 99 ek1.

I'm getting mixed reviews on the wiring harness.

Some say the integra one plugs straight in. And other people say use an ek4 harness...

Thanks to anyone that can shed some light on this

YEs B18c7 and Ek4 wiring loom is obd2a

B18c7 wiring loom stops at shock tower

Ek4 goes straight to the ecu

Integra loom definitely does not plug straight in. DON'T use the EK4 harness. It is incompatible because the whole loom goes straight to the ECU as the EK4 is 96-98 OBD2A. With 99-00 EK's (OBD2B), some of the loom is part of the cabin harness. You must use an EM1 wiring loom if you want it to plug and play. Run the P73 ECU but make sure it's OBD2B if you want it to p&p.

Ek gli and cxi 96-99 all have the same cabin wiring loom

    Ek4 obd2a
    Em1 obd2b

Faithless : what model is your ek?
How can you be sure that ek gli 99 is different 96 ek?
Have you experience this by doing a conversion

I install c7.into ek 96-99 and they are all the same, ek4 harness is the only harness u can for ek conversion

You only use Em1 harness of your installing c7 in your em1

Besides that..em1 harness are rubbish, you can't use it

    99+ EK1 is OBD2B. I own an OBD2A EJ8 wiring harness, an OBD2B EK1 wiring harness and an OBD2B EM1 wiring harness.
    My EK is 1999 CXi.

"NOTE that you cannot use an OBD2b 99-00 civic wire harness in your 96-98 civic or vice versa. Don't be fooled! they look simliar but are very different as shown here:"

I haven't done this conversion yet but the evidence is there.

I don't know why you think you can't use an EM1 harness. Explain this.

You can't use obd2b in a EK, it will not work

Just have to wait until he.post up a pic

Perfect picture you have posted up obd2b

Plug A should be located in cabin harness?

100% your ek gli 99 will not have this plug mate

You tell the guy to use obd2b, so is plug a in your cabin harness?
