gearbox compatibility

have lost second gear in my car, quoted anywhere from $1200 - $4000 to get the gearbox reconditioned.

obviously, there are next to no 6 speed manual gearboxes available - what else is compatible with the k24a3?


it's in a 2006 cl9.

Maybe just find a second hand euro gear box

easier said than done at the moment unfortunately. called every honda wrecker in queensland this afternoon, nothing in the marketplace (well box only) but i have sent a couple of messages out.


guess i will see what happens.
