Air carbon intake Vs edelbrock performer x

    Hey guys
Got the chance to grab myself a AIR carbon intake manifold for my b16a tho all the research I've been doing on it and all the reviews are cars with boost and no NA use.

So most people are saying it won't benefit me at the power I'm making (200hp)
So my original idea was the edelbrock performer x.

    Price difference
    Carbon $1000 with 70mm throttle
    Edelbrock $380 with 68mm throttle.

I dont think you'd feel $1000 improvement. Could spend that money elsewhere imo

The only thing that will make me buy the carbon intake is if it's 50% better then the edelbrock.
If it makes 5 hp difference I'm not bothering

The AIR manifold is an amazing piece of engineering, looks fantastic etc., but at the end of the day, you're better off spending that $620 on other things.

That said, they're rare as hell, no longer in production since AIR have government contracts to fulfill and thus aren't spending their time making manifolds for Hondas, and it's one of the best plenum-style manifolds available. $1000 seems like a great price to me, especially since it comes with a TB, but I doubt you'll see a significant enough improvement over the Performer X to justify the extra cost.

I love the design and whole look of it and I have the spare cash but will I be going backwoods with it.

    It's an investment.
Anyway I'm keen on the edelbrock for now
