    Engine flush

    Guys,

I'm thinkin of flushing out my engine oil this weekend. Does anyone see me running into any troubles on an engine that has done roughly 104km's?? I've read on other sites that it can be a bad thing to flush your engine if you've done a fair few km's. No where have they stated how high in km's. So I was wondering if anyone has done this? Or anyone has been advised not to in a similar situation.

In BM Vtec club vol 1, Mr Ichishima president of Spoon Sports says you should never use flushing oils ever.

Just need to do regular oil changes (and change mtf every time you do).

well if your engine is in good shape then dont use flushing agents, however if you engine is badly sludged, then do it at your own risk. dislodged sludge can block oil galiries causing lack of lubrication and engine failure, but most of the times flushing will clean out a bit of crap from the engine.

hear is a bit of an example

Yeah gearbox oil. If you change your oil regularly then there shouldn't be any sludge (hopefully).

never use those engine flush crap from eg Kmart, unless your engine have all these sludges and deposits. The chemical in engine flush makes the rubber parts age faster.

U rather get some cheaper oil and flush it with that.
