Bluetooth - Where have you mounted the microphone?

I have just installed my Xcarlink with bluetooth option. I was wondering where the best position for the microphone would be.

I decided to mount mine inside the visor hinge. It is neat and you wouldn't even know its there. I will upload photos soon

I've got mine at the top of the A pillar. Since I ran my cable behind it, it makes it look tidy.

thats neat!

did your xcarlink work properly? as in any background noice? bluetooth works?

i got my from sydneyinstaller and it has a lot of background noice like when u accelerate, it gets louder from playing usb and ipods...
it definately is the xcarlink as when i play CD, it is all fine

also the bluetooth, i cant hear people voice through the speakers...
my phone is iphone 4

anyone have similar problem? any solutions?

did contact sydneyinstaller but they have not reply over a week ago..

Very happy with the xcarlink, there is a barely audible whine betwwen tracks but not noticable at all with music. sounds like you might have a bad connection somewhere or need a new condensor on your altenator.
The bluetooth works a treat, I hear them clearly and they hear me clearly. A lot better than the blueant I used to use. I did find that I need to lower the volume on my phone (nokia) to prevent distortion.
