You should be able to use an OBD1 Integra VTI-R or Type R loom. The sensors will all be the same and the loom will extend all the way to the ecu as the DC2 and EG civic chassis are essentially the same. Also get the integra B series shift linkage.
I'm not 100% on this so someone correct me if I've got something wrong.

So i dont need the wiring loom n the shift linkage from that CRX right?? thanks

I'm pretty sure the CRX Del Sol crossed over from OBD1 to OBD2a so just be careful when choosing a new engine loom

No. It would be easier with an Integra loom.

Got your PM. Why can't you buy your mates B16A?

  10. #22
Im not sure why people are telling the guy to use a integra loom when you can use the current del sol b16a loom

Doesnt matter if the del sol b16a engine is obd1 or obd2, you just need a obd1 ecu to fit in the Civic eg

Some del sol uses map sensor that is mounted on the fire wall, if its not then you can use your del sol engine loom

The only thing you need is a shift linkage from integra Gsi\VTIR\type r....

For one, he said that the del sol loom has already been cut.

Wouldn't the only plug and play option be an integra loom?

    I think you're confused.

DC2 Integra, EG Civic and DelSol share the same engine loom design I.e. they all disconnect at the shock towers. The rest of the loom is part of the main wire harness which connects to the ECU.

Since his main wire harness is that of an EG4 D15B he won't have the necessary wiring for VTS, O2, KS, etc, etc which is the reason why he needs to extend the wiring to the ECU
