    water pump is one of those jobs that is easy for a mechanic with the right tools and hard for us DIY mechanics doing it for ourselves the first time...

    otherwise my CL9 had been fitted with an aftermarket waterpump when i bought it and the bearings shat themselves after 1 year and 20k for the installation point
    there is now an OEM pump in there...

    It is also important to be aware that car manufacturer usually do not make their parts themselves. So OEM parts are made by the parts specialist and it would be good to know who makes this (cheaper buying from them rather than Honda). I remember Fred mentioned akebono makes OEM brake pads, maybe Bondo makes OEM belts and perhaps Gates makes belt tensioner. I don't know if aisin makes their water pump.
    It would be good if there is a list for this.
    Does anyone know parts difference between our euro and the american acura tsx? Someone mentioned steering components (left vs right handed vehicle). And I'm sure someone mentioned that the fuel filter is different also.
