    EH Civic Vei to D15b

    Hi Guys,

I'm having an issue with the engine I've recently put into my civic sedan,

    It's a Vei.. so it would have been originally a D15z? That I replaced with a D16b.

The car idles great, no smoke coming out of the exhaust. But the engine "hesitates" and losses power when I'm coasting through gears or randomly in general. It shudders and losses power, then it'll jerk and power will be on again

When the engine is cold, or under load, the car revs fine though. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

might have something to do with it.... D15z uses VTEC-E which is very different and possibly screwing with your timing...

Best sticking to an ECU that matches the engine mate IE D15B. Shouldn't be too hard to source here on OH or a wrecker.

Check ecu for codes man. My d15 acted strange like that, was code 7 - tps sensor. I changed that and cars been fine since, the bucking and hesitation ain't fun at all.
Why don't you tell your daddy to comb his damn hair, look like some spiders is having a meetin' on his head.
