    B16a2 head gasket kit.

    Hi ozhonda,

Just a quick question, I have a b16a2 OEM head gasket rebuild kit just want to know what the 2 metal rings are used for that come with the kit.

Do u mean the Dowel Pin? they are used to keep the head straight to the block
They keep the head from moving too much during expansion and contraction from the heat cycles.

My guess it's the mid way exhaust manifold rings.
