Car in gear but not moving

Hey guys, my friends car isnt moving when in gear.
She says it goes into gears but the csr just revs and does nothing.
Could it be driveshafts ? It just seemed to happen after a night on nebo :/
Ive driven the car before, clutch is strong. I doubt the clutch gave out.
Car is a delsol with a b16 and mfactory 4.9 final drive.
    Thanks in advance.

My cousins b16b also did this agoes ago with a car load of people. Did first to second and it stopped moving. It was a drive shaft problem also.
I just dont see an open diff car breaking it so easily. Its never seen a hard launch since shes had it
Thanks for the reply. Ill get her to.check it out.

Anyway to tell if the drive shaft is broken by jacking it up and spinning the wheels ?

jack car up, go underneath, they usually snap on the shaft collar that is closest to the gearbox so try and wiggle it around, if its snapped you will know

    good luck

If you are saying that she puts it in gear, releases the clutch as if she is taking off and you have no drive, I would be more inclined to say the clutch is not engaging correctly. A clutch can "feel" strong right up until the point it no longer engages

But if the clutch is not biting then it wouldn't go in gear right ?

there would be slight jerking, car would eventually stall if you let off the clutch

plus they said clutch is good..

You'd have to have 2 snapped shafts and one hell of a racket for it to be the shafts
    - not removed by choice! - waiting for the next update to the saga
