Yeah its no use on a stock engine really

Only going to make it lose torque down low which you hardly have much of anyway

If you insist on sticking to your D-series, port it a bit, shave the head a little (discuss with engine builder who will determine how much can be shaved) and STRONGLY consider the Brian Crower stage 3 camshaft and matching cam gear. You will need to upgrade the valvetrain too, springs and retainers a must, oversized valves a possibility to reap the benefits of the VTEC engagement (given that SOHC VTEC only effects intake lift duration, not exhaust lift duration).

But TBH probably not worth it. If you don't wanna go this far then stick to stage 1 or stage 2 with OEM valvetrain. Would still recommend Brian Crower though.

nothing wrong with n/a modded d bangers, its something different here

But to expand more on what dougie said remember to get a aftermarket ecu or at-least minimum a Piggy back ecu, but again to reap the most a full EMS is the go, or if on a budget go chipped OBD1 ECU like P06 or P28 Ecu, Hondata S100 for example would be perfect.

Lighten fly, final drive and headers will make the most improvement for your $

Adding all this other crap on a d is quite useless imo

    There's a reason for that.

    Take EKVTIR-T's advice.
