    CL9 XCarlink

Hey guys, really really desperately need help on this one. I've purchased myself an xcarlink http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/XCarlink-...item4169038899

and I'm very unsure of where to conceal the main square part of the unit...I'm just worried of taking everything apart and finding out its difficult to 'fit' the square part.
    Help?

Mine is in my glove compartment. I just routed the wiring through the back of the glove compartment and then stuck the unit onto the side.

there is heaps of room inside adjacent to the centre console glovebox. you can just mount it using doublesided tape

Same.. just the the triangle bit of on the side and you can feed it through there then up to the globe box

Mine is behind the centre console... I just drilled two holes in the centre console and panel mounted my usb and aux in plugs to the side. So my USB or line in just goes straight into the 'wall' of the centre console now, looks sweet as

Hmm glove box sounds like a good idea. Although I'm very picky and don't like a lot of loose wires hanging around. I like things concealed. Maybe I'll have to just sort of try different spots to satisfy me as I'm pulling it all apart :P

If you want to conceal wires you will have to cut a hole one way or the other so be prepared for that.

I ran my cables through to the glovebox, but the actual unit is tapped at below the centre compartment.
