OIL LEAK!, Not sure if its the rocket cover gasket or not! photo inside

    Hey guys,

Just abit unsure what the cause of my oil leak on my B18A1 motor exactly is.
The leak appears to be caking underneath the the area high lightened in the photo below and oil seems to be leaking underneath the black cap in the red box in this photo.
This photo is not my motor just a reference...

    Any ideas??
    Cheers

Will the rocket cover need to come off, and if so will I need to replace that too?

    Yeah,need to remove rocket cover.
The cover uses a rubber seal but if its not leaking then no need to replace it

here is a DIY showing the cam seal replacement and cover gasket http://www.team-integra.net/forum/bl...placement.html

also, when tightening the rocket cover bolts DO not over tighten as many people snap them off with too much torque

Just to add - do NOT tighten any small nuts / bolts like the ones found in the upper head when the engine is HOT - this greatly weakens the bolts and they will snap easily.

Tighten these when the engine is cool

How do you replace the cam seals on the camgear side? Looks like the gears and timing belt has to come off?
