No you just need to get the engine registered to the chassis.

does it have the disc brakes all round like the ek4?

i thin since the b16a2 was also available in the EK civic range u should just be able to call them up and tell them it a was an engine option available for that model and u have had it upgraded to that. and it should be it. and they will change the details for u.

hmm since the ek4 has disc, then i would look into getting discs on the back, and then mod plate.

i was thinking if the ek4 and ek1 are exact same just diff engine then u might be ok, but since the ek4 looks like it has bigger brakes for the better engine then you will probably need to mod plate it.

but im not 100% certain. but mod plate it and u will be set. but it wont hurt to call them up?

hmm, if its a 170hp model and the car does weight 900kg then yeh thats too much power to weight, even better then a skyline (some)
