    rev limit cut?

Quick question guys, Do the OBD2a and b (1996 - 2000) ecu equipped vehicles use fuel cut, or ignition cut or both?

Without ignition cut? Wouldnt there be issues with a *possible* small amount of fuel making its way in and it igniting a very lean mixture?

ahh cheers guys just wondering lol...

as far as im aware fuel cut is more safer as ur not throwing away unburnt mixture which can ignite in the manifold/exhaust which = cool flames shooting out and fuel cut runs smoother

Not to mention the emissions mega fail of spsrk cut...

But I still dont see why they wouldnt cut both. I can only see upsides to cutting both but there must be a reason they dont! Anyone have qny insight?

I know what your saying, but they only cut fuel, they must have a good reason for it for production street cars. Its not every day an ordinary car and road user hits the rev limit.

Hondata add-ins give you the option to cut fuel and ignition
