    As stated above, its not just displacement, its also power. D16, comes with 96 KW (on paper) B16, 117KW, you'll need to get your engine and brakes engineered to the vehicle.

    When was the last time your tried to register an engine swap with the RTA m8? Laws have recently changed, you can't even go from d16y1 to b16 without engineers cert, unlike before you can't simply get blue slip and update engine number with RTA

    as long as the mechanic dosnt call the rta to ask and the rta dosnt look at it cause there too busy it usually turns out ok..... but the change of law still stands and better off not taking the risk imo

    Tuh, Goodluck with that. RTA is never too busy to see a red notification come up stating the engine number does not match the vehicle. Or, this vehicle requires VSCCS Cert.
