    Snapped top hat bolt

Hey there guys. I'm about to buy a set of coilovers but one of the bolts on the top hat are snapped. Is there a replacement bolt I can install? If so, where can I buy it?
    Cheers

Go to supercheap auto. Bring part of the bolt or the nut used with the bolt. There should be a chart where you can try and fit the nut/bolt in to find out the thread and pitch of what you have. Then just go buy matching bolt/nut you need.

But get us a pic of the bolt you're talking about. If its actually not removable from the tophat or not.

Pretty much that bolt on the right side on the front right strut of a Zeal Function coilover.
    Thanks!

That bolt looks similar to a wheel stud. If that is correct, you are able to remove it by a press.

Don't try to hammer it etc as you may damage it further or the surroundings.

You shouldn't buy it till you find a solution to fix it.

If you can remove it, try bringing it to a bolt and nut shop/specialist and see if they have something that might work.

Would using OEM top hats on them be a second solution to all of this?

The original top hats will not work with the diameter of the coilover springs and more than likely the shocks rod won't be long enough to go though anyway.

You will need to try and source a new stud from Zeal...
