    SRS light problem?!?

hey, been having some SRS light problems with my spoon boss kit in my ek civic.
The SRS light just randomly came on (it has been fine for the past few months) the little capacitor in the srs harness plug (the one that comes with the boss kit) is exposed so lm not too sure if this is the problem or not, also could the capacitor be blown? already checked if any fuse was blown. Is there any place that would sell the srs harness plug alone? would anyone know why it would randomly come on? Thanks

You might get a better response if you post this in technical section, those lads know more about this stuff.

Id probably try resetting the srs and see if the light stays off. if it does it might of just been a random malfunction ect.

got a solution for you .... works like a charm and still comes on and off as you go into IGN to start ...

and passes rego inspection and SRS will still work..

u need to be slightly technical with regards to soldering, wiring identification..

shoot me a PM ...i already helped out one member with similar issues.

    Resetting your SRS light

    paper clip does the trick

engine off, disconnect the yellow plug connected to fuse box under dash (yellow 2wire plug),
unfold the paper clip so it looks like a skinny U,
connect the paper clip into the yellow plug( one end in each wire)
    trickest part of it all
(turn the car onto ACC the SRS light will be on, then the SRS will turn off, when it turns off pull the paper clip out,
then the light will reappear, when it reappears insert the paper clip back into the wires)
then the SRS light will turn off
Now turn off your Ignition off and your SRS will be reset
reconnect the plug back into the fusebox
and now start your car (the light should be gone)
