jvc h/u install help

[BPA]

got a jvc kds-895, the previous h/u was stolen and the bastards just cut the wires from the connecting cable. ok, so i've connected all the cable from the connecter cable to the "white plug with screws on it" (sorry bout the vague descriptions, but i'm sure u know what i'm on about). eveything plugged in, (including the red,black and yellow), turn on the car....nothin from the headunit!....i've checked the fuse, its ok and rechecked all the the connections....wtf am i doin wrong?
btw....its going into a civic vtir

well check the acc and constant wires to see if they actualy work as they should

u can do this by using a multimetre
