Exactly what happened to my EG, drove it the night before then wouldnt start the next morning. My fuel pump died out of nowhere! Get someone to nudge the fuel tank a couple times while youre trying and start it, if it does start then it will most likely be the fuel pump

It's either two things of why your car isn't starting
    Mechanical or electrical..
Doesn't take long with a 'diagnostic'

most likely either no fuel or no spark. if it died over night out of nowhere, it shouldnt be anything more serious..

disconnected the hose that plugs into ur fuel rail. crank the engine, if it spits out fuel u can rule it out.

pull out spark leads and stick a screw driver in it. hold it againts the chassis and crank the engine. it should spark againts the chassis. DO NOT do this in the same spot you tested the fuel, you will start a fire!

otherwise check ur plugs. they could be worn..
it could also be a clogged fuel filter..

do you have an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator? they can play up sometimes..

    goodluck

car no start is 3 things ay
    fuel, ignition, compression.

    pump-injectors
if pump primes, see if its actually spraying fuel through injectors

    ignition-electrical
    check for sparks

lastly see if cylinder can hold/produce compression
