    Sounds comming from rear? Ek1

I've noticed that sounds are coming from the rear of my car when I go over a hump or a steep road/bump.

It sounds like see-saw that is in need of oil.

Anyone has this issue? The car has done 80km.

could also be your back seats... the back rests sometimes squeak at the point where it pivots when folded down... like a bolt type thing...
While driving the other day, I saw a banana peel on the road and instinctively swerved to avoid it... thanks Mario Kart.

Is the "rear bushes" the thing that is near the end of the side skirts? Apparently, the previous owner replaced it.

I had an inspection check on the car and the inspector noticed that it was "red" and he said something about the stock ones being black or something. I thought it was just the colour of the car (my car is red). I'll probably take a photo later for you guys to see-

I've done a quick Google search and it seems like it is common. http://classic.artsautomotive.com/Ci...leBushings.htm

Hmmm.. back seats could be possible. I did remove it in the past and it is currently not bolted on the screw as I used it for the ground for my amp.

Yes, thats the rear trailing arm bush.

    they look like aftermarket replacements.

If its been replaced with a stiffer than stock bush it can squeek.

Best to check all the bushes and bolts in the rear, as its the car is approaching 15yrs and somethings might need to be tighten or replaced.
