i do like the idea of this extension pipe thing, where can i read more about it mocchi?

to the OP, you'll need it engineered etc. to get through the pits here, otherwise they'll pop the hood and freak when the engine numbers don't match up with the paperwork. It'll be one hell of a headache otherwise.

    Good luck.

This guy is asking 15 for the car but is negotionable..
There is also this on carsales at the moment:

The swap doesn't look as clean as the other but I plan to do a wire tuck and do basic upgrades either way.
Anyone know anything about this car?
I basicly want your opinion whether to not touch it with a ten foot pole or its something I can work with.
    Cheers

the one on carsales says it is a k20a3. its from base model dc5, 120kw. It has eco-spec vtec (runs on 12 valves on low 16 on high). Not saying it wont be fun to drive etc, but if you going to do a kswap, might as well look for k20a2 or k24a3 that has the 'true' vtec camshafts.

Thanks, I thought that might be the case. I'm surprised no one personally knows the eg I've posted up originally.

This second one is a bargain... Just swap out the K20a3 for a K24a3 + new tune and you will have a beast on your hands
