on the topic of lug nuts, is it advisable to have a very thin layer of oil on the lugs to prevent such things from happening? WD-40 or lithium grease?

i always use a torque wrench to apply the correct tension to my lug nuts, so i havent had any issues so far.

Put an indentation into the lug nut head and get a phillips head screwdriver and try and hit it on an angel to get to turn anti-clockwise
