    Was going to say, the ECU plug wiring looks heavily modified. Don't try your luck with that loom. I wouldn't want something that's been as chopped up as that looks like it has. Take it back and if you cant get an EK4 loom, buy an EJ8 one and modify it.

    yah looks terrible after unwrapping the tape. worth prob 50bucks and added few wires.

    so get EJ8 harness? cant I use my DC2r harness maybe =/

    Nah can't use your DC harness. Your only options are EK4 or EJ8. EK4 being the only one that won't require you to modify the loom.
    EJ8 harness needs to have knock sensor, secondary O2 sensor and VTPS wired in.

    Yeah a D to B series swap into an EK1 is often harder than expected. Especially for your first swap. Just be patient and don't put a time frame on your build. You'll just get frustrated otherwise.
    As far as I know, the US harnesses are the same but you'll need someone else to verify that.

    It wouldn't take much more effort to make that "EK4 loom" you bought work

    but yeah i'd be pissed if I paid $350 for that

    Yeah that's the thing , you pay for something but you didn't get what you pay for
