    really upsets me man
that's the nature of many people in the used automotive parts industry.
there's a whole lot of shit out there being passed off as something it's not. keep that in mind and never trust anyone in this industry!

I just figured out why you have that 4-pin Alternator plug

The 4th wire is for Electrical Load Detector (ELD), and only JDM models have them...

Explains why all my AUDM harnesses are 3 pin

So if a get a legit ek4 harness it still won't fit into the JDM alternator . Guess ill need a audm alternator .

I've return the harness today , awaiting BYP money transfer .

So who's got an EK4 harness ? Lol

My guess is the ek4 harness will have 3p plug

And if u swap to AUDM alternator, your JDM ECU will throw a CEL code for ELD

you can always rewire the alternator plug, i think you'll get away with two wire, sense and load

It's all the more satisfying when you get it done though.
And yes the alternator only needs sense and load, just splice the DC2R alternator plug to your loom with the aforementioned 2 wires.
