Thanks man.
1. Sanded back the caliper with 1200 grit paper, doesn't have to remove all the paint just enough to allow the paint to stick,
2. Cleaned up the caliper with wax n grease remover,
3. Prep the area with newspaper (discs, cv boots, struts, coils, stub axle etc)
4. Spray 2 or 3 light coats of high heat/engine enamel on each caliper, allowing 15 minutes between each coat
I didn't clear coat my calipers, but just repeat step 4 as many times as you like with the clear enamel.
Hope this helps!

Just bought these.
Stahlwille Open Box 13 Spanners, 5.5mm - 24mm
Best quality German spanners a man could buy.
So happy with them.

Just sprayed them while they were on,
and as Manolii said, I just masked up all the areas that I didn't want paint on.
