just drill out the supplied holes and place a nut and bolt thru there....a 10mm or 12mm headed piece does the job

Is there a reason not to tap a thread?

that metal that blanks over the holes r so thin the brace would probs pull the bolts right out of the thread. in an ek4 there are threads welded to the chassis

Drill the holes out, put a bolt through and put a nut and the biggest washer you can fit under there...will not pull through
