    Ive looked in my manual for the wiring diagram for the head unit but there dnt seem to be anything telling me. I'd like to know what wires go where, which colours are for which and so on. I am putting a Pioneer DEHP-6550 into it if that helps. Thanks

    is the 2000 civic a gen 7. cos thats a bitch. first use a screw driver to pull out the panel behind the gear knob ( only clips hold it in) then put ur hand under the panel above that. u r first gonna have to pull up then towards you. then the rest of the panel shud unclip.

    Are you asking where the loom wires go?

    Yellow: Permanent power
    Red: Accessories power
    Black: Negative
    Blue: Aerial
    Blue/white: Remote
    Orange: Dimmer

    Purple pair: Rear right speakers
    Green pair: Rear left speakers
    Grey pair: Front right speakers
    White pair: Front left speakers

    That any good champ?

    Marty would that be for both sedan and hatch Civic EK's ?

    Been searching the forums for a wiring diagram for an hour and finally found some info in this thread

    Would you know where i can get a loom adapter for the car ?

    Have rang stratties, supercheapauto, repco, autoone but none have them, anyother ideas ?

    old thread mate.

    i went to a rather 'large' car/honda dealership and the guy said 'ive been working in parts for 25 years i think id know if they existed or not'

    so thats when i walked out. :roll:

    Thats the wires on the Pioneer loom, not the car dude.

    Yeah i figured that after looking at the manual

    Took me and my mate a few hours to put in but runs sweet
