    ek grinding when turning

    I just recently put a set of lowered springs with new shocks but when i put them in the front drivers side grinds when you turn right i took the shock out and but it back incase i may have missed anything but it still does it only when the car is moving doesnt make a sound when the car is still help any body may know how to fix it

    Take a look at your tire and wheel arch covers. It sounds like the car is too low the tires is touching the guard.

    Hey buddy, like DakDark said, do you know how much of a drop you have? Also what is the specs of your wheels and tires.

    I have 17 inch wheels on it not sure about the tyre but its like a vibrating grind so yeah

    But if that was the case wouldn't it be for both sides

    Could we get a pic, specs of the wheels [17" X *.* Offset], tyre size and if you know the drop in height from factory would help too.

    Theortically it should BUT don't forget, there will be naturally more weight on driver side cause there is the driver to consider

    It could also do with your alignment, 17s are a little oversized for EKs imo.

    Have you had it aligned after you put the springs in

    Check the plastic lining on top of the wheel arch adjoining to the guard, theres a few tabs there that you can push back to get some clearance that usually helps
