Honda Jazz GD Brake rotor and pads info

    Hi there,

For those who need to change their GD3 rotors, hopefully this thread will help you.
Because there's so many different parts numbers for brakes, I had to cross reference TRW/Bendix/DBA/RDA/Honda to get the right brakes for my Aus Jazz.

For those who dont know, DB1262 are 262mm pads. Jazz rotors are 240mm, so do they work together? Yes, surprisingly:S

    Front Rotor
    AU GD1 and GD3 ( GLi / VTi / VTI-S ) all share the same front rotor - 240mm
DBA lists the DBA2504 as 'GLi only' but its the same as VTi and S.
    Honda 04VTI OEM Part number - 45251SAAG11

    Front Pad
    AU GD1 and GD3 ( GLi / VTi / VTI-S ) all share the same front pads - 262mm
Bendix lists the DB1262 which is a 262mm pad, this is the same as an EG6.
    Honda 04VTI OEM Part number - 45022SAA901

So if im right, you can use any (DB1262)EG6/EK4 performance pad on the Jazz and it should work. Just cross reference DB1262 and it should fit.

Stock rotors had done 180 000KMs with about 19.8mm thickness left. (19mm legal) Had so much trouble finding part numbers as overseas Jazz probably has different brakes aswell.

Hope this helps the slightest bit.
