    Need help with my civic :( pls

    my civic as working fine till last week, when as i was flooring, acceleration would suddenly cut out and a check enigne light would appear and it would work fine again till i floor it, then it got worse and worse, the next day like after 4k revs the same isue would happen and the revs slowly slowly recreased, now whe i turn on the car, the idle fluctuates and when i drive the car feels as if its choking... pls help

    mates told me it could be o2 sensor or the fuel pump

    btw im new to cars soo preety noob

    best you take it to mechanic.
    pointless to give you instructions on what to do or tell you to read manual.

    or pm few guys here that can probably can help fix the car for you

    Check the basics, air fuel spark

    air intake ok?

    oil level

    do an ecu error code check too,the DIY is posted on the forum

    Best to take it to the mechanic mate. Where about are you located?

    im located in baulkham hills, im a student so dont really have enough money atm to take to mechanic

    If theres no visible problem then the best and FREE place to start is check the ecu for errors codes,you might get lucky and find the issue from that

    hey i just tried to read my "cell light"but all i got was the light staying on the whole time but when removing the paperclip the cell light wasnt up... and now car doesnt start at all :S

    anybody in hills area that can help a bro out

    check fuses mate. might have shorted something checking the CEL.

    green whip!
    dizzy? spark plugs and/or leads? if it sounds like a rex it probably dropped a cylinder for whatever reason
