    camber kit & wheel allignment

    Need some help guys
I lowered my car around and 1.5 inches on springs only and had an ingalls camber kit installed. I didnt get a wheel alignment at the time, was waiting to get my tyres changed. I had no problem with how the car handled after that was done.
I had the back tyres replaced on the weekend and got a wheel allignment done. The back wheels were out by 5-7mm which was expected. The guy adjusted the toe using the ingalls arms (I think he only adjusted one of the arms on each rear wheels and not both arms), until the readings were within the range indicated on the allignment machine!
My car is worse off after the allignment, the back wheels are skipping of the road when I hit any small bump on the road. The car is almost unsafe to drive!
I checked the wheels nuts and there tight, took it back to the place and the guys said to come back again tomrw, but he blamed the problem on the car being lowered etc.
What sort of readings should the wheel allignment be?
I need some expert advice please

    Thanks

Where did you get the alignment done? Some tyre shop or a suspension and alignment specialist?

You need around 1.5 degrees neg camber and around 1mm toe in on the rear. That should look after your tyres and still drive pretty well

I got it done at a tyre shop, 7 day tyres

But why would the car handle so much worse after the allignment ? It had much more negative camber before

Its more than likely the toe setting - he may have not adjusted it correctly.

Generally the toe will effect stability more than camber so it can make the car feel twitchy or alternatively it can make the car very "numb" and not responsive

As far as i'm aware the Ingalls Kit does camber and then you use the factory toe adjusters

1mm Toe in should read as + on the sheet

    Thanks Senna!
Ill take the car back on saturday and ask them to do an alignment to these numbers. If they fail to do so, Ill look at getting it done at an alignment specialist.

Can anyone recommend a good wheel alignment workshop?
