CCP Australia Day Photo Competition

Welcome to the Car Care Products Great Aussie Day Photo Competition!

For this Competition we are asking for your best Detailing Shot of your car, whether you have a picture with your car and; your favourite wash, your favourite wax/sealant, 50/50 short during paint correction, interior clean shot or just a photo of your car glossy & gleaming when its finished!

Competition rules:

- Photos must be original, taken by yourself and of your or an immediate family members car.

- Plates and identifying marks can be hidden if you wish. (If you’re unsure how, please PM we can help edit your images)

- We have no intention of using any entries for promotional use but they are being posted in a public forum and may be subject to being reproduced.

- Maximum of four (4) entries per user. One (1) entry is an individual photo.

- All submitted photos must contain at least some information of what you used to achieve your results!

- No photoshopping or use of lightroom!! You can have all the pretty borders and cropping you wish but the winner will be judged on the subject, composition and quality of the overall image. (Please no HDR)

- Our decision is final; the winner will be chosen by CCP

- Additional prizes may be awarded if we feel that certain entries should also be deserving.

All entries must be posted in this thread by midnight on Saturday the 26th of January 2013. This will give approx. 3 weeks for everyone to get their best photos up online!

- Vouchers

- Cooler Bags

NOTE: For image hosting we can suggest Imageshack, or Photobucket

Well I guess i'll get the ball rolling on this one.

Starting with the Honda..

Usual AB Snowfoam prewash + 2 bucket
Two layers of Prima Epic (didn't have time to clay it either)
RainX on the glass
Optimum Spray Wax on the trim bits

Then to the Rangie
Three (yes three) Pre-foams + 2 bucket
Ran out of clay for this one, so all it has is the existing layer of Prima Epic, haven't put a new coat on yet.

As for why it needed three prefoams...Here is a before shot...(Eeek!)

Everywash:

Pre soak with high pressure water
2 Bucket Method using Duragloss Car Wash Concentrate
Rinse
Apply Duragloss Aquawax
Dry with Mint Microfibre Drying Towel Waffle Weave Extra Large

Not much competition to judge and offer! We will PM the entrants with a gift for entering but hoping next time everyone will get more involved to get some extra freebies going around !!!

Unfortunately we cannot judge on 2 entrants it would be unfair to the rest who missed out or who were plain lazy (lol)

We will hold another Comp just for OzHonda soon to hopefully get more than 5 entrants to which we will give out some prizes for but unfortunately for the little interest we would rather see more effort and entrants!
