Hi everybody

Just thought i would post to give the forum a reference for any future problems like mine.

2008 Jazz 5 speed auto (tried to avoid CVT auto's)
35k on the clock, just past 3 years old out of warranty my wife is 2nd owner.

No problems for 6 months
Air Con stopped working, then dash light warned of problem (ABS error was first)
Over next few days this is the list of problems:
Air Con stopped working
ABS Error Light
General error light
Power Steering stopped working
Rev Gauge would drop to 0 for 1 sec then go back to normal
(i will check my list at home to confirm for more)

Took to mate auto electrice to see if can read error codes
11 error codes, tried clearing them but a few kept coming back

Took car to Honda in Southport QLD service centre.... on new years eve
Get call computer days later, the dashboard computer has failed they need to order part and will take 2 week, but Honda is going to cover repair. I think no problems sounds good.

16/01/13 i call for update, unit not arrived i request them to track it and get back to me.
18/01/13 i get call back (wife did) part not available? they need to make part? (Wife Translation) it will take another 4 weeks.

I can only assume this is a known fault/or rare fault to offer to cover repair.

Does any one have any inside knowledge or experience a failure in the dash before?

I am worried that they get this part and it does not fix problem...
