Unusual 1986 Civic

Anyone know any info about this model?

Has a twincam carby engine which looks a little like a ZC. Seen the SI model before with the ZC engine and this seems similar

Even says in the add that its an import.

In japan, the EA (called AH in aus) came out with the ZC as an SI.

The owner might have stripped off the SI badges for those shitty mugen ones,.

I know it's an import. And seen the SI too but those are EFI whereas this one has a carby..

between 1984 and 1987 some models came with a carby ZC in the mid range models.

Yeah, i got the same one off them lol.

I reckon, like i said, it was an "S" model. The Si had an "i" for injected, so the S model would have had the twincam motor, carby.

i have seen SOHC Carbies but to see one with DOHC. thats trippy.

There is a forum user "jilCRX" NOT ON OZHONDA on various other messageboards/forums .. the above image is his engine bay.
Seriously PM him if your wanna know more on his setup. or if u wanna go further with your carbie performance wise.

Looking at the photo of the engine, its either not originally carby or they swaped the engine out for a FI one and put all the carby intake back on. Reason being it has a CAS on the exhaust cam, the carby version of this engine didnt have that because it didnt need it. It had a flat plate that bolted there instead. Shouldent be a problem tho, its a very rare find a carby ZC.
