    EG3 cluster problem

    Ok so this has been an on going problem with my car the cluster works when it wants to the temp doesn't read properly it gets really hot and it will show just under a quarter and the Speedo will work and then will jump 20k and freeze there and won't move till the car has rested for half an hour so my question is any of you had this problem ooh and this its my third cluster lol

    Check that the 10mm grounding bolt on the thermostat housing is tight

    nope not it kinda at the point where im goin to have to strip the car to see if its wiring which i reallllyyyy dont want to do lol

    interesting, The troubles you are having are normally directly caused by this problem also, What I can recommend is to firstly check all the grounding bolts under the steering column area and wherever else you can access. Is anything wiring wise in the car modified? Also check the actual speed sensor and connection in the gearbox, although you have multiple issues they may be unrelated.

    ok got a question does a DC2 intergra cluster match a EG3 cluster plugs ?because i found a cluster and it looks good lol but im goin to work tomorrow might try and have a look but dont like my chances as work might be under worder lol

    Im pretty sure you need the dc2 clusters plugs and chop and join, if u changed ur cluster before and it still didnt fix it then its prob not it.
