    d16y1 Starting Problem

    Hey fellow ozhondas I am having touble with my d16y1 motor in my EG civic. When ever I try to start it, it cranks over but the engine wont start until the check engine light turns off.


    Any help be appreciated

    Before you go ahead and change anything, scan your ECU for codes and cross check them with this list. Will give you an indication of what's shagged

    I had a similar problem in my d16y1, was the ICM in the dizzy, popped a code 15 ignition output signal

    Hey charliebrown thanks for showing me the DIY ecu write-up but I'm not to confident about touching that stuff by myself cause im quite new to honda.

    And ECU-MAN if you can fix it pm me thanks.
