    em1 boot leak

    Hello,

Realised my boot floor gets wet after heavy rain. So I hosed it down to see where the water was coming from. I think I found where it comes from. However when I checked the seals they looked fine. Any suggestions? could It be water still gets through the seal? Should I reseal it?

This is a picture of my boot. Water comes from the brown bit at the top, where the two metals join.

Gave the tail lights a good spray, but no leakage.
I have a crack where the Antenna sits. You think water is leaking from there?

could try getting a new seal since em1 are aged around 13-14 years and it could be on it's way

Good chance it's from the antenna. Common issue with DC2's also. Take off the black plastic cover around the base of the antenna and use a rubber seal or bluetac to stop the leak.
