Anyone put an Intake on their GE yet and if so, details plz.
I searched but doesn't seem people have done too much of this. K&N have a panel and Cold air intake for the GE8. Simota must have something as their are Youtube clips of the rev noises.

I have PRM intake on my 2012 GE. Very happy with the fit and ease of install.
Noticeable improvement to throttle response and great note too.
I chose that one as it's enclosed. Still sucks air from the factory location though and a CAI would prob get you a slightly higher power gain.

Where did you buy it from?

Ordered online after researching on fitfreak forum. I think it was from Canada from memory (a year ago now). Google PRM intake and you should find them.

Found this DIY

Might give it a go just for the hell of it.
I'll buy an air box cover to hack up though. Not using my own.

Go for it man, and good luck!
I love to DIY (painted my brakes a few weeks ago) and was wanting to construct my own intake but was nervous about affecting my warranty so chose off the shelf instead.
Hope it all works out - post the results!

The best part of it is my brake fluid isn't on the right, it's on the left side where the EBD is so it gives a little more room.
Off topic: I also notice the USDM GE Fit's have more room in front of the battery than us. We seem to have an extra steal beam there. Maybe to get our 5 star rating?

USDM has longer nose for their safety requirements. We get the shorter front overhang on ours (which I prefer personally).

Finding it hard to source an air box cover other than new from Honda ($54.90 they want). Project probably won't go ahead unless I can source 1 cheaply locally.

Just run down the wreckers, pick a part etc.
I'm looking at some sort of intake on the wife's one but not convinced that there's much point in still having it in the same place, seems like a lot of trouble to go to for some extra noise.
