    Unhappy Lug nut Adapter/key thingymebob lost

    hey guys , i lost a lug nut adapter/key or whatever it is . i dont even know what it is called, well it fits these lugs and i lost the piece what can i do too take of the wheel without damaging lug?



    i hope you understood what i just said :$ the key/adapter thingy looked like this and would supercheap/autobarn have these

    Had the same problem, tried to buy the same type of lock but wasn't the same.

    That worked for me but with a spark plug socket. Good luck.

    Its called a "lock nut key". Theres no way to take off the lugs without the key, unless you damage them. By using a smaller size socket and smashing it onto the socket and then taking it off. Best to just take your car to super cheap or where ever you like get them to take a look at it and test some keys. They may have some.

    I did this for a cheap set of lock nuts when I tried to switched to my Kics R40 Revos... The key was rounded too badly and the key itself being a softish metal warped too =(

    Found the key in the pack was the same lolz

    If you use a larger socket.. how on earth would you manage to get the lock nut off?? It wouldnt grip onto anything to get the nut off?
