    ITR 5 Stud Question

    Is The JDM 5 Stud a direct replacment for an AUD ITR 5 stud? (just change over of hubs)

    JDM DC2R (98 Spec) 5 stud uses larger front hubs and subsequently thicker driveshafts


    aka 36mm hubs/driveshafts

    So would a jdm itr 5 stud fit on ek1 driveshafts?

    No. Aus Hubs are smaller than the 98Spec JDM Hubs. 32mm vs 36mm diameters

    No. The EK1 drive shafts will be a 32mm and the JDM 98 spec 5studs are 36mm.

    If you want it to work you will have to buy the AUDM ITR Hubs. And change the bearings. And the knuckles I think.

    98 spec jdm dc2r uses a 36mm drivshaft so obviously the hub size will be 36mm
    to fit this to another honda you will need hubs, brakes, 36mm drivshafts handbrake lines specific to eg/dc2 or ek

    all ek9 models have 32mm hubs and will fit all models suitable for 5 lug conversion
    audm dc2r models are also 32mm hubs are pretty much identical to ek9 brakes


    obviously honda saved the best brake set up for its final release of the best b series motor made
    honda wouldnt of gone to this effort for nothing

    OP\, assuming this is what you're using:

    JDM 96 spec engine gearbox
    JDM 96 spec driveshafts (32mm)
    AUDM 5 stud brakes hubs

    then YES this combo will work

    Yup the only difference would be the 4x114 vs 5x.. everything else (i.e. Hubs & Driveshafts) are the same. Comparing JDM 96 spec vs AUDM

    p.s
    Just remember that AUDM itr brakes are 282mm and 96Spec jdm ITR brakes are 262mm's..

    FWIW I've compared EK9 and DC2R 5 stud and the EK front knuckles are slightly shorter than EG/DC2, approx. 7mm shorter at the top. The casting is also different..

    i.e. if you use DC2R 5 stud on an EK you will get funky front camber issues....

    thats funny ive used all combinations and i dont have any problems

    at the moment im got jdm 98 spec itr and dont have any issues what so ever

    won't be noticeable to the naked eye and it may not be a "problem" if your car is lowered

    but the taller ITR knuckle on an EK will give you less factory negative camber (possibly even positive camber on stock ride height)
