    Synchro Ring Change

    Hey guys,
I drive an EP3R and sometimes when i shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear, it sometimes crunches or gets stuck in between. Could be the synchro ring is worned out or something?
It makes my daily driving sometimes a pain in the ass.

try redline MT90 or lucas oil before you start any expensive rebuild.

I've had a similar issue with my old car, I changed it to royal purple and it was a lot smoother, then it turned out the throw out bearing was playing up, changed the clutch, put in MT90 and it never crunched again.

I was thinking the same, will get it checked out and refresh with new transmission fluid.

Im not sure what fluid is in there at the moment but I will most likely empty it all out and refresh it with some new fluids.

I've recently put in a brand new clutch and flywheels but I will check out those oils. Thanks!

Just a tip when you do, open the filler bolt before you take out the drain bolt.

If you take out the drain bolt and the filler bolt is seized, you will be in big trouble.

However if you've changed your clutch recently, that shouldn't be an issue (still a good habit to get into)

Yeah of course, just saying make sure you push it hard and all the way down. A quick hard push to the floor. If it's a little bit off the floor then it won't engage as well as it could and this will cause crunching/sh!t shifting.
