Interesting Niko, I think you would need an ecu from a 6spt Manual, not a 5spd Manual, Im running without any issues. whats ya location ?

AFAIK there is no USDM Civic R18A with 6MT, only Si K20. Also the link I've posted with same swap like mine the gay didn't report about this problem. First 2 comments translate:
"- 255hp! do not understand why the ECU from the American to take, and how from 5 to 6 gears to retrain?"
"- needed because Hondata have under it, and under our - no. Retrain no needed."
Anyway, we will check Reverse Lockout System and for mechanical problems first and if everything is ok with the system, this will mean ECU can't control Reverse Lockout Solenoid and I have to return the original ECU if we don't find another solution.
Btw what is your FD1 5MT or 6MT?
About the location I'm from Eastern Europe, Bulgaria.
